1. Information We Process

User Prompts and Voice Input

When you use TapTap AI:

• Text prompts and voice recordings are transmitted to our backend service for processing.
• The backend forwards requests to either:
  • A user-configured OpenClaw instance, or
  • OpenAI's ChatGPT API.
• Voice input is only recorded after explicit user interaction and is used solely to generate AI responses.
• We do not record audio in the background.

2. Data Storage

• TapTap AI does not store conversation history on its backend during beta testing.
• Prompts and responses are processed transiently for the purpose of generating AI responses and are not retained after processing.
• If you connect to third-party AI services (such as OpenAI), their privacy policies apply to any data processed by those services.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not:

• Create user accounts
• Store conversation history
• Sell personal data
• Use your data for advertising
• Track users across apps or websites

4. Device Permissions

TapTap AI may request:

Microphone Access

• Used solely to capture voice input for AI prompts.
• No background audio recording occurs.

5. Third-Party Services

If you choose to connect to:

• OpenAI (ChatGPT API)
• Your own OpenClaw instance

Your data may be processed by those services according to their respective privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party services configured by the user.

6. Security

Data transmitted between the app and backend is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

7. Beta Disclaimer

This is a beta version of TapTap AI. Features and data handling practices may evolve as the product develops.
